Site Utilization Suggestions We surveyed our most successful Job Posters to find out what they did to fill their positions quickly. Here are some of their most common suggestions. 1. Monitor your postings and email often. Candidates regularly apply to more than one employer so it's important to respond quickly - before someone else does. Some of our more exciting success stories involve Job Posters that contacted candidates within minutes of receiving their online applications. 2. Post your job in more than one specialty category – this improves exposure, especially if you’re a smaller employer. For example, if you’re seeking an RN for Neuro ICU you may want to post under Nursing – Neurology and Nursing – Critical Care. With the added exposure of our network of co-branded career centers this will greatly multiply the number of folks seeing your job. (Be sure to review your membership plan for costs associated with job postings.) 3. Write complete and informative job descriptions and qualifications. Incomplete information in either of these areas will both turn off potential candidates and increase the likelihood you’ll get unqualified applicants applying. 4. Use the Company Information section to really sell your company or the employer. Describe the location, benefits, practice environment and anything else you’d mention to someone you’d really like to come work for you. This information is attached to every job you’ve indicated you want Job Seekers to ‘see all facility info’ and can really be a differentiator to qualified applicants. 5. Be proactive – each job posting has a “View Matches” button below it. Selecting this button searches the active resumes in the GovMedCAREERS.com database for candidates with qualifications matching the information in your job posting.
